The Wilderness Wildlife Week/Southern Trout Fly Fishing Fair to be held on February 1, 2014 at the new LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, TN. The Fly Fishing Fair is a one day event that is part of the 24th annual Wilderness Wildlife Week. Numerous speakers will be on hand as well as well known fly tyers. This event is a great bargain since it is free. I have been alerted to this event by a good friend of Troutprostore Don Kirk who publishes the on line magazine called Southern Trout Magazine.
By the way, for those of you who are not fly fishermen, the Wilderness Wildlife Week is known as the ultimate Smoky Mountain experience. It consists of a series of free events designed to connect the visitors of Pigeon forge to the great outdoors. The week starts on January 25 and continues thru February 1. During the week, there will be dozens of seminars lectures and work shops as well as guided walks and hikes. You can check it out HERE.
