Super Hair
Use this fine diameter synthetic fiber as a great substitute for bucktail in your medium to large streamers and jigs. Add length, movement, and durability to any of your fly patterns, with Super Hair's long, crimped fibers which retain their shape better than other materials. Super Hair has been designed to gather and reflect light, creating a glowing effect that imitates the scales of a bait fish.

Unique Hair
Unique Hair is a softer and smaller diameter cousin of Super Hair (shown above), and it has the same amazing characteristics as Super Hair. And like Super Hair, it accepts permanent marker well. Visually, it looks almost identical to Super Hair, except that it is a thinner and more supple fiber. Unique Hair is excellent for bonefish, sailfish, pike, muskellunge, trout, bass and other species. Unique Hair comes in similar colors as Super Hair.

Neer Hair
Softer than bucktail, stiffer than marabou, lightweight Neer Hair's ultra fine fibers have just the right action to make your streamer patterns come to life. Unlike many of the competitors, Neer hair floats well making it a perfect material for parachute patterns. BUT don't take our word for it, J. Stockard completed an in depth comparison of 7 different materials. They were scored on several factors including ability to float, water retention and durability. Their conclusion was "My experience indicates that Neer Hair scores high in all the qualities assessed and is substantially less expensive than Z-Lon. So it is my preferred material for parachute posts."
Color your flies with a permanent marker, comb out Neer Hair's fine fibers with Velcro or a small brush, or use Neer Hair in a dubbing brush to add those finishing touches.
