Gander Mountain This is a store that is quite new in our area but gaining rapidly.
Bass Pro Shops has a trout fishing department with flies and fly tying material as well as a great line of fishing equipment including rods, reels, poles and lures. Dick's has 2 stores in the Carolinas, 4 stores in Georga, 2 in Virginia and 3 stores in Tennessee.
Dicks Sporting Goods is a good store for the general outdoors with a fairly large fishing department. Dicks was started in my Hometown of Binghamton, NY as a small Army Navy Store, and now, has over 300 stores.
Orvis is the greatest fly fishing store in the world, with stores in Richmond, and Roanoke in Virginia, and one in Sevierville, Tennessee and three in Georgia.
The Greatest fishing store is Cabela's. At Cabela's there is a river with waterfalls. In it are some awesome trout, brown as I recall. You can feed them, but don't get caught with a hook!
