New Jersey trout fishing featured on Backwoods Angler TV

Sun, 03/28/2010 - 15:40 -- jmaslar

Backwoods Angler TV came to New Jersey in January and filmed some winter trout fishing for a show that premieres this weekend on cable television and Backwoods Angler TV's Web site. The show provides compelling proof that New Jersey trout fishing isn't just a spring thing anymore.

Anglers who already know this and those who have their doubts will be equally impressed by the show's footage of monster rainbow and brown trout caught and released in the Musconetcong and South Branch of the Raritan. Even fair weather trout anglers will want to see these fish, which will be waiting for them on April 10 along with hundreds of thousands of newly stocked trout.

Backwoods Angler TV's 'New Jersey Winter Trout Fishing' already aired on Saturday, March 20, and the show will also air on Service Electric TV2 on Sunday, March 21, at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. and on Blue Ridge Communications Channel 13 on Thursday, March 25, at 9 p.m.  Below, you can view an excerpt from the show.
