The Western North Carolina Fly Fishing Trail is the nation's first and only designated fly fishing trail and as the name implies it is in Western NC. It contains 15 good fishing spots including Scott Creek, Raven Fork, Whitewater river snd 12 other worthwhile fishing spots. The current fishing report is available here.
