Ideal Wading and Float Tube Fishing Vest
The TechVest is ideal for not only for the wading angler, but also for the floating (tubing or pontooning) angler as well. The TechVest keeps gear high and dry by using retractors to keep tools, tackle, & fly boxes securely out of the water. Additionally, if the rod holder is not needed, it can be quickly and simply removed from the toolbox using a Phillips screw driver.

Tool Box Contained in the Center Pocket of the Vest
Two strong neodymium nickel plated magnetic fly holders are located on the inside of the front flap attached by velcro. An optional tool, the streamside thermometer with a reel retractor, is located in the side pocket. Note: All items, except the tippet dispenser, are held in place with springloaded reel retractors which are located in the bottom cavity. A total of six reel retractors with custom end connections for attachment to the two split shot dispensers and four recommended tools are included with the basic package.

Recommended Optional Tools
The TechVest has been designed to accommodate the following optional equipment (not included):

Floatant 1” diameter plastic dispenser common to most floatants on the market.

Scissor Clamp Can be used as scissors, pliers, and a hemostat.
|

Knot-tying Tool Simplifies knot-tying especially in the winter when your fingers are numb! Works well with cinch and nail knots.

|
Line Clippers Comes with a fish hook eye cleaner.

Flambeau Large Pocket Fly Box TechVest designed the two large pockets to specifically accommodate this 6 1/2” x 4 3/4” x 1 1/4” box. It has double compartments with ripple foam on one side and a segmented tray on the other side.

Alternate Flambeau Large Pocket Fly Box This box measures 6” x 4” x 1”. It has ripple foam on one side and flat foam on the other.
