Wild and Scenic Rivers - Keeping them Free

Thu, 10/25/2012 - 08:37 -- jmaslar

In my current report from AFFTA (The American Fly Fishing Trade Association) I learned about the efforts of an organization called the American Rivers which is dedicated to preserving and protecting fish habitat. They focus on removing dams that are no longer used for electricity, and protecting the pristine waters like the Merced River by designating them wild and scenic.
